At BER Consultants we are proud to be one of the first registered BER Assessors in Ireland. We are made up of qualified and experienced BER Assessors who all have architectural backgrounds who have trained under the National Framework of Qualifications and are registered with SEI. Assuring you a professional efficient service at a reasonable cost. Our Assessor will travel to your property and carry out a dwelling survey as per the assessment methodology set out by Sustainable Energy Ireland ( SEI ). Following the survey our Assessor will return to our offices and firstly draw up Plans and Elevations of your property in AutoCAD format, print off any photographs taken and then set about completing your Building Energy report in the Dwelling Energy Assessment Procedure ( DEAP) software package, which includes detailed information on Property and Assessor, Dimensions, Ventilation, Building Elements, Water Heating, Lighting and Internal gains, Net space heat demand, Distribution system losses and gains, Energy Requirements, Summer Internal temperature and finally a Results section.
On completion of the report our Assessor will then log on to the National Administration System (NAS) and upload the completed report onto the National BER Register and finally our Assessor then print your BER Cert.
We also Produce a tailor made Advisory report to accompany the Building Energy Rating, the focus of the advisory report is to provide occupants with advice to assist them in maximizing the energy efficiency of their home through best use of the features and services installed together with practical cost efficient changes to improve your energy rating.
